Flat Caps & Newsboy Caps

Flat caps and newsboy caps have enjoyed a massive resurgence in popularity in recent years.  While many people use the terms interchangeably, newsboy caps are often constructed from 8 strips of fabric in a pizza slice style, with the cap at the top tying it together.  Flat caps, on the other hand, are usually made from several whole strips of cloth starting from the back of the cap. In practice, flat caps tend to exhibit a more streamlined, fitted look, whereas newsboy caps tend to have a fuller, sometimes slightly puffier look.
